Learning Chinese
Today in class we read about how in alot of schools in the u.s now offer learning chinese in schools and i was shocked because for one i didnt know about and also i think its a great idea to get people especially young kids exposed to a totaly new language other than the usual spanish or french. not saying that it's anything wrong with those lanuages its great that they have those as well but you dont hear much about learning to speak chinese like thats like on a new level. But what also surprised me was that its being taught in elementary schools so childern in kindergarden are being exposed to a new language whereas me i didnt get to learn a new language until i was bout 13 in the seventh or eight grade. so i think that concept gets two thumbs up.
