Remember This?

Do you think something like this will resurface in the aftermath of this healthcare bill? Because I have seen an increasing amount of these on facebook with the moneky tagged as Obama, and the police officers as some people I know. It makes me really upset that people would think this about our President because of his race.

    I think things like this will never go away. I mean in a certain way, people expressing their right to freedom of speech.

    Freedom of Speech vs. Hate Speech... Has been debated/contested for a long, long, long time...

    People are angry. I would argue that the argument is primarily the result of conflict. Or what individuals perceive as conflict...

    Ok, but still I just think that this goes to show you that people have no respect for power in this country. I don’t agree with everything the President does, but I respect the fact that he is our president if he says pick up and go to war, guess what we have to pick up and go to war, when he says come home, we get to come home. If not we go to jail, so I think he deserves a lot more than a cheesy race joke! I understand the anger and frustration, but a lot of good things are being put up for debate now hat have never had any time in the past, don’t blame the President for what politics does to him. By that I mean he comes up with really good ideas then they get brought through the senate and house and they all ask the same question what’s in it for me... but the answer should always be the same ---- NOTHING- because these ideas Obama initially thinks of like the ones he campaigned with were for the people, not the politicians.
