  1. I really do not know what to say to that. But I agree that because of the lower income status that they are facing more stressful situations than a peer from a higher income. Which the article mentioned. I think it also could be because that the child's parent or parents are both working. And, no one is home to help the child learn. Plus the child is more likely to be influenced from outside sources to do things but to study. Where as a child from a higher income family does not have those same influences and or have a parent or some influencial person in charge of them to make sure that they do their school work.

I defiantly see where this article is coming from because a child will learn all of their basic functions through interactions, that’s why all those kids shows on T.V try to insight interaction, like Dora or the Wonder Pets, they all ask questions to get a child mind moving. If no one is around like Antonio said then a child really misses out.
